A weekly digest of new investigations. One email per week when there is something to send, no email when there is not. The publication is committed to a minimum cadence of one investigation per week.

What arrives in your inbox
A short note on Monday morning AWST listing the investigations published since the last digest, with a one-paragraph summary and a link to each article. No tracking pixels, no "view in browser" beacons, no third-party newsletter platform. The email is sent from Resend over plain HTTPS by the publication's own server.
If a week passes with no new investigation, the digest is skipped entirely. The publication does not pad the inbox with summaries of existing articles, recommendations from elsewhere, or sponsored content. There is no sponsored content.
What the publication stores
Stored once, used only to send the digest. Held in the publication's own Postgres database on a private server. Not shared with any third party.
The topics you tick determine which investigations appear in your digest. You can change them at any time via the link in any digest email.
No name, no IP address beyond what every server sees in the access log, no browser fingerprint, no cookies, no third-party analytics. No tracking pixels in the digest emails.
Confirm and unsubscribe
Sign-up is double-opt-in. After submitting the form, you receive a confirmation email. Click the link inside to confirm. If you do not confirm, no digest is ever sent to that address.
Every digest email contains a one-click unsubscribe link that requires no authentication and no reason. The link uses a unique unguessable token tied to your subscription; visiting it removes you from the list immediately.
Editorial scope
The publication covers accountability in Australian institutions and statutes, with secondary coverage of Ireland and the EU. Topics are chosen for source availability and public-interest weight, not engagement potential. Subscribers can scope the digest to a subset of topics via the checkboxes in the form above.
